I'm a former Manhattan prosecutor and white collar criminal defense lawyer.

I've lived in courtrooms, the grand jury, and in-house at a hospitality company that centered its hiring around human trafficking survivors and justice-involved individuals.

I know how prosecutors evaluate evidence, make charging decisions, and prepare for trial because I once did that work. I bring that perspective to anticipating the government’s strategy, identifying weaknesses in its case, and building a client's defense.

I have tried multiple federal and state cases to verdict as first-chair and argued federal and state appeals.

Outside the courtroom, I'm a Mama of two boys.

WHO AM I?

PRACTICE AREAS

WHO DO I REPRESENT?

WHAT I BRING TO EVERY MATTER

  • Prosecutorial insight: Understanding how the government builds cases, evaluates evidence, and makes charging decisions.

  • Early strategic guidance: Advising clients before an investigation becomes a criminal charge.

  • Technical and business understanding: Examining financial transactions, digital communications, and cross-border operations.

  • Trial and negotiation experience: First-chair federal and state trials, appeals, dismissals, and non-prosecution agreements.

  • Individual attention: Understanding your family, professional, and cultural circumstances that belong in your defense and sentencing advocacy.

"Many of my clients are navigating the U.S. justice system for the first time. I was on the other side of it, building cases. That changes how I show up for them."

I represent people often left unheard in the legal system: immigrants, business owners, and families at a crisis moment. My clients range from Ivy League professors and physicians to immigrant entrepreneurs, crypto experts, and former government advisors facing federal investigations.

My clients live and operate across borders. A U.S. criminal investigation can trigger cross-border collateral consequences - visa issues, foreign asset exposure, reputational risk in multiple jurisdictions. I have spent my career navigating exactly that intersection.

LEGAL DEFENSE THAT SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE

Few white-collar criminal defense lawyers combine experience as a Manhattan prosecutor with fluency in Mandarin Chinese and conversational proficiency in Spanish and Japanese. I do.

Raised in Queens in a multilingual family, I understand how culture, hierarchy, and family expectations shape communication and business decisions. In federal investigations, that context matters. It informs questions of intent and responsibility. It shapes how I anticipate the government’s strategy, identify weaknesses in its case, and build your defense.
